Race Information for Divisional Race 10/9 1. The bus will leave at 11am 2. We will be travelling to Lakeside Park in Orem 3. Only the Varsity Athletes and alternates are allowed to attend. 4. No spectators are allowed. Race info for Saturday Royal Run: 1. The bus will leave at 6am. Do not be late. We will leave you behind! 2. We will be traveling to Roy High School. 3. Remember to pack what you need!! Roy HS is also suggesting to bring Mosquito repellant. ** 1-2 Spectators per runner. You will be required to wear a mask, and they are asking us not to congregate! Race info for Friday 9/18: 1. Athletes are checked out of class at 11:05 2. The bus leaves at 11:30 3. Make sure you change and eat before we go! 4. We will be traveling to Spanish Fork Sports Complex **Parents: we are allowed to have spectators! You must be wearing a mask!! Tuesday, September 8th: Race Info for Friday 9/11 1. Bus will leave at 12:00, You will be checked out of class at 11:05, so you can change and eat lunch. Do not be late to the bus! 2. We will be traveling to Soldier Hollow park in Midway. 3.You will need to pack and wear warm clothing, please bring clothing appropriate for the weather. 4. You MUST have your waiver of liability signed ASAP! ** Parents, this event is not allowing spectators at this time. Saturday 8/29 Race Info: 1. Bus will leave at 6:30 am 2. We will be travelling to Cotton Wood Complex 3. We will be taking team pictures for the Yearbook before the races begin. Please plan accordingly! ** Parents: Due to the number of entries, NO SPECTATORS are being allowed. Saturday 8/22 Race Info: 1. Bus will leave at 6:00 am 2. We will be traveling to Pleasant Grove HS *Parents - Spectators are limited to 2 for each athlete and anyone attending must wear a mask. Thursday 8/20 Race info: 1. Athletes running on Thursday 2. Bus will leave from Alta at 3:00 3. We will be traveling to Orem for the race. |

Register My Athlete MUST be completed in FULL and cleared by the Alta Athletic Director prior to an athlete competing in ANY FORM of competition. This requirement must be completed ASAP, we begin competing next week, if you are NOT cleared, you will NOT compete!

Instructions from the Meet director to Athletes, Coaches, and Parents: As per UHSAA Rule: "Spectators at outdoor school-sponsored activities MUST bring a face mask to the event and a mask MUST be worn when within 6 feet of individuals or groups from different households." To make it very clear: Mask On! So our cross country athletes can RUN On! #MaskUpUtah! Only 1-2 spectators per runner. No mass gathering or congregating will be allowed at the start or finish line area or any other areas, please make sure to be spread out throughout the course! We have a PA on hand who will be announcing throughout the races. XC Teams MUST complete the Covid Symptom Screenings including temp checks BEFORE leaving their school. XC Teams MUST Provide their own water/drinks/ice and team hand sanitizers! Bring mosquito spray! Due to Covid, there will be NO awards ceremony after the races. Winners/placers will be announced and medals will be distributed at the finish line. Trophies will be given to coaches. Teams are to remain together and not mingle with other cross country teams. After the final race ends, teams are to get their gear and head directly to their busses. No lingering or gathering after the end of the races. Awards: Rookie race – top ten ribbons; JV race – top ten medals; Varsity race – top fifteen medals; Varsity team 1st place trophy. Course: Mostly grass, spikes are allowed. Bring water and shade. |
